Inspired by St. Augustine, the Patron Saint of Brewers, Augie’s Mussel House and Beer Garden in historic Old Town, Alexandria blends traditional Belgium cuisine with a modern twist. Our creative mussel offerings can be thoughtfully paired with one of our extensive Ale selections. Whether you are sampling one of our many brews on the festive patio, or enjoying a waffle and frites in our bespoke dining room, Augie’s has you covered! Old chicken in my pasta dish. The chicken in my creole pasta dish was chicken that had been cooked and saved from days before. Mixing old chicken into a fresh meal ruins the dish. But the apple tart was the star of the show!

The food was amazing, the Augie’s platter started us off perfectly, along with an order of frites which came with a variety of tasty sauces to choose from. I finished with a lamb pot pie which was delightful, although next time I think I’ll try the jambalaya pasta. The food had a bit of a dragging wait time, but it was Saturday night and completely worth it.

Love Augie’s . Food and service is always good. Staff is very attentive and accommodating. Fun atmosphere to watch football.

We always enjoy coming to this restaurant for good food and drinks. We love their hamburgers and beer selection and we always have a nice time at this restaurant!

Been craving mussels so this was the perfect stop after 5pm Mass on Christmas Eve. Enjoyed the Christmas Cookie Ale with my husband and my brother visiting from Vegas. Perfect way to kick off Christmas. Thank You!
