Full service restaurant with a welcoming and well trained staff and extraordinary view of our beautiful Catskill Mountains,. We are located just up on the hill in the Hamlet of Roxbury. Please join us and indulge in some notable Maui Pork Belly, locally and lovingly 808 Smoked Turkey Breast BLT and of course our Rueben Fritters. We have dinner specials on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and on occasion you will benefit from some of Rich's award winning soups. Ate o Ate at Shephard Hills is managed by Rich and Peg Ellsworth. Rich is a self taught chef that always brings an interesting twist to some standard favorites. Both he and Peg strongly believe they should bring their younger talent along for the ride and are making Shephard Hills a place to learn and grow. Hoping you will learn and grow with us. Excellent dinner with a Prix Fixe menu for Valentine's Day. (Which OpenTable didn't show when we made our reservation.) Good helping sizes, and good options for each course, and with reasonable prices for an excellent glass of wine. We will visit again.

Excellent service. Already low music was turned off at our request (senior citizens). We were well accommodated with share plates to turn the lobster rolls into “hors d’œuvres” and likewise to share desserts. The sautéed soft shell crabs were excellent as were the pork chops. Highly recommended.

Ate o Ate is located in the golf course club. The views are beautiful and on the night we went there was live music. The food was great and reasonably priced. The staff was very attentive. I highly recommend.

Can’t get much better. Beautiful day, beautiful view of lake and golf course, beautiful outdoor patio and delicious barbecue food. Everyone extremely friendly. Wonderful enjoying these Catskill mountains
