Arte Cafe's newest location in Chelsea, Manhattan, a unique eclectic ambiance. Presents an upscale Italian cuisine with artisanal homemade pastas, fresh meats, brick-oven pizzas and gourmet desserts. A spacious Main Dining Room with exposed rustic brick walls, ornate black chandeliers, and Scalamandre’s iconic zebra wallpaper creating an atmospheric motif throughout. Expanding beyond are two private event rooms, the Middle Room and Back Room. Available for special occasions at all budgets. Have a brunch, lunch or dinner sit-down, passed hors d'oeuvres, cocktail party or a buffet style event of your choice. Arte Cafe - Chelsea serves Lunch ($18 3-Course Prix-Fixe & A La Carte Menu), Happy Hour (Everyday 12PM-7PM at the Bar & Lounge Room), Dinner and Brunch ($29 Brunch Special | Bottle + Entree) during the weekends.

Edison is a great server. We started with a large Caesar which we split. Also a Mozzarelli de Buffala. For dinner Spaghetti Polpette and Pork Chop Parmigiano, which was very large. All the dishes were amazing. Sicilian Pinot Grigio and Peroni's made for a wonderful evening. Thank you and we will be back

The food was a definite disappointment. Scrawny chicken and tasteless salmon. The appetizers were somewhat better. Dessert was the highlight. Not sure I'd go back...

Got there early enough for the prix fix lunch Excellent food and reasonable portions. I would go there again. Not too noisy, which is rare these days.

We were seated at a table for 4, which is always nice to have extra space. Our main purpose was visiting after not seeing each other for quite awhile, so it was great that the noise level was very low and the tables spaced comfortably apart. The $18 prix-fixe meal is a bargain. The mussels were excellent, nicely seasoned and accompanied by garlic bread. The Fettuccine beef ragu also excellent. My friend had salad and a sandwich w/Fries fries, all nicely done and tasty. Had enough to take some home. Service was pleasant and not intrusive. Stayed almost 3 hrs without feeling pressured to leave. The only thing a tad bit annoying was the paper sheet on the table, which our arms caught on several times. Perhaps cut it a bit smaller?

Arte Cafe was fabulous for my husband's 75th birthday. The homemade pasta was incredible. Highly recommend.

They were very accommodating of our large party. The servers could have been a little more attentive. This was my first time to Arte Cafe in Chelsea. I got the the UWS Arte Cafe and do take out all of the time. Both have excellent Italian food!

A group went for our monthly Ladies Lunch. There is an $18.00 pre-fix lunch menu that was excellent. It offered something for everyone in the group. The food was delicious and the service was great.

Attentive and friendly serving staff. Good food and drinks. Overcharged prix-fixe short rib; five dollar add-on should have made it $23, not $26. Oversight or on purpose? Not sure. The prix-fixe & happy hour was otherwise worth the try.
