   Food was fantastic and the Wagyu steak was cooked perfectly. The staff are polite and well versed in the menu, making some great recommendations. Will be back!

   I had returned tonight because I had enjoyed the food so much last night at the Top Chef viewing event. The food was excellent and the Burrata blew me away.

   The Top Chef watch dinner was a great experience. The room had a view of the lake, and the flower arrangements were gorgeous. The cocktail was refreshing, and every course was delicious! It was really nice to have the chef introduce each course. It was worth every penny!

   Food was top notch. Especially recommended the fried rice and boiled/fried dumplings. The tastes are more than you can imagine.

   Our server was clearly angry with us for wanting to order an appetizer before deciding on a main course. Felt like he did the bare minimum after that. The portions were generous, but everything was just kind of okay. Got the ribeye, which was overcooked (we didn't even get a choice on the cook) and had a bit too much acid in the chimichurri. Overall it was fine, but expected more from Arlo Grey which has been fantastic in the past

    Our expectations for being a Top Chef restaurant didn't come close to being met. Immediately upon arriving the two hostesses were not very friendly and didn't appear like they wanted to be there. We arrived 10 minutes early for our reservation and were told to wait because they were still waiting for other reservations and there were plenty of open tables. Between that time and when it was time for our reservation we didn't see anyone else get seated and she seem frustrated when we said it was time for our reservation and would like to get seated. The ambience was very dark and made it hard to see the menus. A table next to us had to use their phones to read the menu, but luckily our table was under one of the few lights. Our waiter was very friendly and we give them props. The kitchen seemed very delayed as there was quite a bit of time between our courses and they brought out a separate dish on the house because of the wait. Most of the dishes we ordered were very good, but a few of them failed to meet our expectations and I wouldn't order again. All of the cocktails we ordered were tasty. It seems they are only pulling in traffic because of the Top Chef name, without it I don't know how well it would do. If you are looking for a fine dining experience I am sure there are better options in Austin for the same price point.
