APRIL'S SOUTHERN BISTRO a “southern and soul” cuisine will have you asking for more of flavors and taste, that satisfy the heart, mind, soul and most importantly your HUNGER! Master Cook & Owner April Y. Williams, a native Atlantan, found her niche with cooking at an early age like many other adolescents, watching the family “matriarchs” prepare family Sunday dinners. This mixed with her desire for food to have more “taste” has given her extremely ‘flavorful’ dishes rave reviews amongst family, friends and even complete strangers making them come back for MORE!

I really enjoyed the restaurant. This was my 2nd time going. I have ordered delivery multiple times and always enjoyed it. The presentation was good, the facility has a great atmosphere and the staff was very hospitable. I will be back

April’s Southern Bistro provided a great experience for my family and friends. The music set a pleasant tone. The taste, temperature, portions of food exceeded everyone’s expectations, service was fast and courteous. The prices were low. We are still talking about the experience a week after our visit.

Took my father her for father's day. Looking around the room I could see many other guest had done the same. Food was great, service was good but one thing stood out to me that should have been a little different. There was a live DJ his selection of music was too hip hop for the day. I expected more Jazz, R&B soul, gospel and blues given that it was Father's Day and the guest all seemed to be a wide range but this day was about them and I just felt the music selection could have been better.

The restaurant appears to be fairly new and the staff as well. The service was just okay. The waitress was not welcoming and seemed annoyed. Our cups were greasy and dirty. They ran out of silver ware so we got to go plastic ones which I perfer. The only thing I enjoyed was the cat fish. I was told my greens were made with Turkey wings but they had none in them. Mac and cheese was a disappointment unfortunately. I hate to give a bad review to a new business but honestly they need to hear feedback. Environment needed as to feel more inviting overall.

It was Mother's Day, and most of the people I observed were over 40, but the live dj played music as if we were in a nightclub. Rated G versions of some music are not good for kids on Mother's Day

My family and I sat at a booth. It was my first time there and the waiter was very nice. Everything my family and I ate did not need extra seasoning. Meaning when the food came to is we did not need to add salt and pepper. All my son and I added was hot sauce.

VALENTINES Experience was amazing enjoyed the food, live jazz, and the chef delivered the steak to our table himself. Awesome!
