The best sushi in the area. Great ambiance, delicious cocktails. Always packed but they always take walk ins for the outdoor tables with heaters. Crunchy spicy tuna roll is the best.

Food and service were excellent. Highly recommend chefs selection for sashimi. Great selection - each piece was cut perfectly, buttery. We had a few rolls including the 49er, Emerald and Aozora. Each was excellent. Fish was very fresh in each roll and the combinations were spot on. Will definitely return.

We as a family had very good experience. This is our first time trying sushi and the stuff made sure we were well served and taken care off. The service seemed very personal which made the overall experience very good. Food was very good also !!

Hi everyone. My family and I enjoy going to Aozora, primarily for the food which is always delicious. We typically order rolls and sashimi, but I highly recommend giving the small plates and entrees a try. We recently had dinner here on Valentine's Day and I tried the strip loin, which was delicious. I do want to add though that our service this evening was not well delivered. We ordered dessert and the servers did not clear off our table so we ate the dessert with our dinnerware still on the table. At first, I did not think I would mind ... I guess I never think about how the table is cleared between courses. But we could not enjoy dessert with our dinnerware still on the table. Additionally, the person who delivered our dessert saw that our table was cleared and still proceeded to put the dessert on the table. And in fact, she put the dessert spoons on a used plate. I asked our server twice to clear the the table but nothing was done. I hope this is a one-off experience. Ty.

Came to Aozora on a relatively busy evening (Valentine’s). Hadn’t been in some time, but may have to check out a new spot after this experience. Food - great, considering most restaurants dip in quality on holidays Service - friendly, yet slow tending to the table. One male staff member (younger / tall / shoulder length hair) was clearly having a fit and stormed out of the restaurant. Bumped into my dates’ chair without even turning to apologize. He came back in disgruntled, with an attitude towards another staff member. Not accustomed to that in behavior in Danville Ambiance - Very pretty space and the crowd is normally filled with typical Danville residents, couples and families
