Beautiful dishes and lovely service. Some wait for the main dishes to arrive (probably due to their Valentine’s Day menu) but overall very satisfying experience.

Booked a table for me and my partner’s anniversary. It was my 3rd visit to this restaurant. The food was more outstanding than ever and service was well adapted. The staff’s knowledge of the food and wine is exemplary and a complimentary drink on the house was a very nice touch that we didn’t expect. We will be back soon. Possibly the best place for fish I have ever eaten. Thank you!

We have eaten at other Michelin 1* and 2* restaurants previously (eg Restaurant Story, Le Manoir au Quat' Saisons), and Angler was equally enjoyable in terms of quality of food, service and general ambience. The staff were friendly and efficient, food was exquisite (especially the tuna tartare and lobster ravioli) and the Chablis was so good! The sommelier recommended an alternative white wine, which she kindly gave us each a small complimentary glass of, as it paired particularly well with one of the courses. Would definitely return for a special occasion meal!

My husband and I had the 8 course tasting menus but each course was brought out so quickly there was no space at all between courses. The first few courses were lovely but the turbot and scallop courses were quite flavourless and I found the venison very chewy which you don’t expect for the money. We’ve visited the Angler quite a few times and it’s the first time I felt the need to post a negative review not sure I would go back.

The food at Angler was really good. Every dish was light yet flavourful. My guests and I really enjoyed it and we will definitely be back. The execution of each dish was done to perfection and the set menu had a really good price point. We had the Ala carte this time and thoroughly enjoyed the Lobster Ravioli in Bisque as well as the various amuse bouche. The fish we ordered were well prepared in terms of ingredients and taste but we felt the turbot might have been slightly under cooked today. Still, a fantastic meal and I would recommend for business lunches!
