The best award-winning steakhouse in the area! Worth the drive from Banner Elk (13 miles), Beech Mountain, Sugar Mountain (30 minute drive) , Johnson City or wherever you are. Americano Steak House is a local, veteran-owned restaurant featuring hand-cut steaks, fresh seafood, amazing salads, 1/2 pound steak-burgers, decadent desserts and the only full liquor bar in the East Tennessee mountains will over 100 wines by the bottle and glass.

We kindly ask that you do not show up early for your reservation, but simply on time. We are a small, boutique steakhouse that focuses on exceptional food and incredible service in the mountains of East Tennessee and typically cannot seat guests earlier than their reserved time.

While we have always discouraged them, our policy towards no shows/same day cancelations MUST be firm. No shows and same day cancellations are the plague of the industry and we ask of you to uphold your end of this commitment as we are thrilled to provide on our end.

Change in plans for our Anniversary. Started with cocktails - OK. Meal was good. Steak was cooked well, but over marinated for me. Wife had the Grouper and Brussels sprouts… really enjoyed it (and couldn’t leave the last few bites!). Bill seemed a little high for the meal. Service was great. Waitress was very attentive.

Fabulous place! Food was amazing, service was attentive and well worth our 45-minute drive. We're originally from the Midwest and we know steak - they do it extremely well here! Probably one of the Top 5 meals we've ever had. Will definitely be back and tell many others about it. We were early for our reservation (I would suggest always having a reservation) but they welcomed us in and seated us right away. We celebrated my husband's 60th birthday and we were not disappointed! Met the owner and we are so excited they are opening a second restaurant closer to our hometown, but we will be back to enjoy the steaks here. And if you love brussel sprouts - order them - they are so worth it. EVERYTHING WAS FANTASTIC!

We did not have to wait long and everyone’s meal was delicious. We did have a late reservation and the bar was out of brandy.
