Alobar Downtown is nestled in the heart of Toronto's bustling Financial District. Alobar Downtown offers revelry in the bar and lounge and warmth in the dining room, both featuring menus from Michelin-starred chef Patrick Kriss. World class wines are displayed as a centrepiece to pair with choice seafood, grilled fish and prime chops. All served with genuine hospitality.

Join us for happy hour on weekdays from 2:30pm to 5:30pm in our bar, lounge, and heated patio.

Alobar Downtown's menu is inspired by the classic steakhouse, expanding upon the offerings at our sister location, Michelin Recommended Alobar Yorkville.

For groups of 11+, please book our Group Dining, Family Style Experience or contact us at info@alobardowntown.com.

For groups larger than 8 guests, we are unable to provide individualized bills, however we are able to process as many payments as required.

    Food and ambiance are always great at Alobar. The service is fantastic. There seems to be a bit confusion with reservation in the beginning but is just a small hiccup. Overall experience is very pleasant

    I’m a big fan of the Alo chain. I’m the end, my favorite is the Alobar chain. It offers the same amazing quality of food, with great ambiance and amazing cocktails. And the service is always amazing! The new downtown location is also excellent, with a bit more steaks as part of the menu compared to the yorkville location. Really enjoyed it and have been here 3 times since last fall, 2 larger groups (10-12) and once with a smaller group. Always great service and caters to the clients.

    Great experience. Food was on point. Everything tasty and cooked perfectly. Drinks were good, but I did find my martini was good, but not as good as I would normally expect. Overall, a great experience. Would definitely return.

    I booked a reservation for my fiancé and I to celebrate his big 40. We were seated right on time and our server was great. They followed the instructions for his cake to come out with a candle. Our food was great but it took about half an hour to get our main after our appetizer and there was a bit of a lag between each course which was kind of unfortunate but overall food was great and drinks were great. Although we felt the size of drinks were pretty small for what we were expecting. We ordered Iberico pork chop and New York strip loin. The meats were magical but kind of sad that it doesn’t come with anything else and you have to pay for a side separately. I would rather just have it included in the price with an options to replace with another for additional pricing. All in all a good experience

    Alo Bar downtown is always a great time, especially during happy hour. Fantastic food, delicious drinks, and superb service! A good way to end a long work day, or wait out the crazy rush hour, or just to enjoy a wee bite or bevy. Many thanks for yet another wonderful experience.
