Alice B. restaurant and bar from award-winning chefs Susan Feniger and Mary Sue Milliken combines Southern California’s incredible seasonal bounty with Mediterranean-leaning flavors. The culinary vision is a collaborative effort between Feniger, Milliken and acclaimed Executive Chef Lance Velasquez.

This unique dining experience is located at Living Out, a luxury resort-style LGBTQ+ active senior community surrounded by spectacular mountain views. Inspired by the extraordinary life of Alice B. Toklas and her life partner Gertrude Stein, the restaurant establishes a vibrant space where culinary excellence, art, and community converge seamlessly.

We offer indoor & outdoor seating, plus bar seating. Dinner starts at 5PM. Bar menu starts at 4PM. Join us for Brunch on Sat & Sun from 10AM - 2PM & live music on select nights.

Mary Sue Milliken & Susan Feniger are the founders of Mundo Hospitality Group, including Border Grill, Pacha Mamas, BBQ Mexicana, SOCALO, and most recently Alice B.

Delight in new breakfast and lunch favorites such as Croque Madame Flatbread with a silky mornay sauce, Green Shakshuka topped with perfectly poached eggs and fresno chile for a bit of a kick, or Strawberry Crunch Pancakes with a crave-worthy strawberry crunch topping. Pair your meal with classic brunch stalwarts like Mimosas and Bloody Marys or signature cocktails such as Alice's Amaro Spritz with fresh pink grapefruit juice and our Carajillo with espresso for an uplifting boost. We had a lovely brunch. Everything was made with fresh ingredients and the portions were generous without being overwhelming. We had 4 different dishes, and each was great. The mimosas were tasty and service was good overall. Only a minor complaint - service slowed down a bit after the food arrived (coffee not refilled, bill slow to come) but we enjoyed ourselves overall and definitely recommend it.

The food was so good! The menu has great options and the server Michael was really well versed on the offerings. We celebrated by Sister’s birthday and the Chocolate cake was devoured!

The meat in my entree was fatty and contained bones. I could not eat it, leaving it 95% uneaten. The waiter said he would tell the chef. To compensate, two scoops of complimentary ice cream with 6 spoons for our party to share was offered. Nobody really loved their dinners. Biscuits are awesome though.

Lovely intimate environment, great food & service. This was my 2nd time and all this was consistent. Would recommend and I will go back.

Wir haben endlich wieder ein Restaurant entdeckt indem man sich atmosphärisch gut fühlt, die Bedienung war hervorragend und versiert. Das Essen war richtig gut , Lammkotelett beste Qualität , Entenkeule zart und saftig mit Linsenragout, danach Dessert zum dahinschmelzen, Schokoladentorte mit gefrostetem Espresso !insgesamt ein gelungener Abend

Outstanding food and service. Bar/Lounge seating gives access to 2 menus.. both filled with inventive and delicious, well-crafted food. Cheddar cornmeal biscuits are not to be missed.

Had a fabulous experience and meal at Alice B’s for a birthday. The ambience and space were lovely - premium but quiet and effortless. The waitstaff were equally refined, understated and wonderfully friendly. And the food was exceptional especially for the desert where true metropolitan dining experiences are honestly far and few between in a sea of otherwise tourist-centric establishments which this is anything but. Chicory salad, fried green tomato special, chicken cutlet, duck leg - all phenomenal and cant wait to come back. Honestly couldn’t recommend it more. And famed LA chef and co owner Susan Fenniger was onsite saying hello to everyone - a real treat!
