For an unforgettable evening on Hilton Head Island, head to Alfred's Restaurant for German and European cuisine by chef Heath Prosser and his team. Care has been taken to bring a wide wine selection from around the world-France, Italy, Spain, Australia, New Zealand, California, and of course Germany to pair with the menu. Nothing is overlooked to ensure the globally-inspired dishes at Alfred's Restaurant go beyond expectations. Along with many entrées from the land & sea, we also offer German selections, including sauerbraten, jaegerschnitzel, roasted duckling and the popular German mix platter. With indoor dining as well as our new covered and heated outdoor courtyard, you are sure to find the right seat in the house. Reservations highly recommended. Due to increased no show and last minute cancellation activity, you may be asked to provide a credit card when making your reservation. Charges will only be processed for no shows and last minute cancellations that cannot be re booked.

We are located behind Santa Fe/Sea Grass Grill at the back of the building complex. The closest parking is in the side lot between Sea Grass Grill and Ruan Thai where you can cross a wooden bridge to our door. When using GPS it is advantageous to use 809 William Hilton Parkway.

Another wonderful experience at Alfred's! This is our must-do restaurant when at HHI. We had the pork chop and veal chop specials, and they were some of the best entrees we've ever had, anywhere. The mushroom cream sauce on the veal chop was so so good. Shared the Gorgonzola salad and Apple Strudel for dessert. We appreciate the care they take with their service and their amazing dishes, and we look forward to seeing you the next time we're on the island! (Tip: we always order the potato pancakes to go at the end of the meal and have them for breakfast the next morning - delicious with a fried egg!)

First time dining at Alfred's. What a nice spot! Excellent, reasonably priced wine list. Potato pancake appetizer was delicious. Grilled pork chop & schweinhaxen entrees were awesome! Loved the red cabbage & spaetzle sides. Apple strudel dessert with ice cream was a perfect ending. We'll be going back again for sure!

Alfred's has the best Veal Chops! Our meals were excellent as was my Old Fashion Cocktail. Our waiter, Trent, was very attentive and helpful explaining gluten free meals available for my wife.
