For an unforgettable evening on Hilton Head Island, head to Alfred's Restaurant for German and European cuisine by chef Heath Prosser and his team. Care has been taken to bring a wide wine selection from around the world-France, Italy, Spain, Australia, New Zealand, California, and of course Germany to pair with the menu. Nothing is overlooked to ensure the globally-inspired dishes at Alfred's Restaurant go beyond expectations. Along with many entrées from the land & sea, we also offer German selections, including sauerbraten, jaegerschnitzel, roasted duckling and the popular German mix platter. With indoor dining as well as our new covered and heated outdoor courtyard, you are sure to find the right seat in the house. Reservations highly recommended. Due to increased no show and last minute cancellation activity, you may be asked to provide a credit card when making your reservation. Charges will only be processed for no shows and last minute cancellations that cannot be re booked.

Alfred's has the best Veal Chops! Our meals were excellent as was my Old Fashion Cocktail. Our waiter, Trent, was very attentive and helpful explaining gluten free meals available for my wife.

We had our annual Christmas dinner here at Alfred’s. They did not disappoint! From Trent opening the front door to welcome us we received excellent waitstaff. I had the weiner schnitzel and it was excellent. My husband kept raving about his schweinehoxen as well. The evening went by way too fast. Can’t wait to come back soon. And grateful for some leftovers since the portion sizes are great as well.

This restaurant is a hidden gem. Even though we couldn’t pronounce it, the German word was for the pork shank, and it was so tender and delicious. I had the roast duck and it was delicious as well. Our server was very sweet and we enjoyed ourselves.

A great dinner with friends! Service was impeccable and the food outstanding. They have the best veal chop I have ever had. The halibut and fried pork were also outstanding. Great drinks and wine also enhanced the experience! Highly recommend this consistently good restaurant!
