    They ran out of one of the courses of the prefixed menu and served us a completely frozen cheesecake. Service was nonexistent for the entire night.

Valentine’s Day weekend was incredibly busy, and while we did our best to anticipate demand, our ravioli was a popular choice on Friday and, unfortunately, we ran out. We understand your frustrations. As for the cheesecake and service, that is absolutely not the standard we aim for, and we take your feedback seriously. We appreciate you sharing this with us and will be addressing these concerns with our team.

    Valentine’s Day prix fixe was disappointing. With the wine pairing it was over $200pp with underwhelming flavors, ingredients, and quality. Tartare was more mayo than beef; oysters were shucked dry—no liquor in any shell; lobster ravioli was served in a dark red sauce that overwhelmed the palette with deep fried kale (?); foie gras was a low grade patte that you could find in any supermarket; the ribeye was poorly seasoned, un-aged, and seemingly a USDA Choice cut; the Chilean sea bass was chewy and served over a bed of plain white rice topped with a broken lemon butter sauce. To top off this experience we ordered the Cheesecake and Tiramisu, which to our surprise, was actually freezer-burnt ice cream, topped with ingredients that vaguely remind you of cheesecake and tiramisu.  We will never eat here again. We wish Restauranteur all the best in their forthcoming bankruptcy proceedings.

    Took forever for a pice fixe menu. Walked out halfway thru after two hours for two courses

    Great food and service! They accommodated our dietary issues easily. My only gripe is that my mom course was WAY too salty!

    On Valentine’s Day, supposed to have a 830pm reservation. Was contacted at 8:10pm, as we were calling an Uber, saying they are pushing my reservation back an hour to 9:30pm. We obviously cancelled because that’s way too late. Really ruined Valentine’s Day plans . Was told other people “showed up late for their reservations,” causing ours to be pushed back by an hour. So my question is, why were we punished for that and not them? Again, on Valentine’s Day.

    Waited 1hr+ for seating, was told that it didn’t matter if we had a reservation because everyone waiting had a reservation as well. Our main entree didn’t start until 2.5hrs after we got seated. When I asked to see our server the host or manager was not friendly at all about it and then when we asked why it was so backed up they blamed it on the eagles parade which ended at 3pm. Our reservation was at 8pm. Instead of blaming it on something we both can’t control maybe the restaurant should think about how they took 2hrs+ just to get the food ready on the table for the costumers which lead to even more delay on everything. No apologies or anything, food was not good enough for us to come back.

    Went for Valentines Day prix fixe special. Had 8 pm reservation. Was told that the wait would be one hour after arrival. We finally sat down at 9:15. The place had been clearly overbooked and the kitchen + wait staff did not have capacity to handle. Everything took extremely long - getting waters to our table, cocktails, first course, etc - without a great explanation or much acknowledgment for multiple hours. By the time our main course was actually served it was past 11:30 (3.5 hours after original reservation time). A few people around us got impatient and just walked out without eating, since it had been multiple hours and their meal hadn’t been served. Wait staff were doing their best but not communicating well or managing expectations. Appetizer was cold. Main course was very good. Desert was terrible (freezer burn). I personally have had positive experiences here before and was pretty disappointed. This used to be one of my go-to places in Philly, but this was just an all around bad experience.

    They could not handle Valentine’s Day. I wanted to like this place and while our server Hunter was nice, the restaurant was definitely short staffed. Bread, and oysters came out in 10 minutes but the foie gras took over an hour and our main course came out before then. The steak was cooked medium well when we ordered med rare which is understandable cause it’s busy but it was a super cheap cut of ribeye. The foie gras was mostly fig jam over ciabatta. The dessert was misleading and inconsistent per table. I ordered the cupids arrow which was supposed to be cheesecake and my wife order was the tiramisu. It ended up being just really icy, bland ice cream? Other tables had the same but some had what looked like a real tiramisu. The one positive was the drinks. The drinks were nice. We had the espresso martini and spritz. The 20% auto gratuity included in the bill sucked but whatever, not worth fighting over. I think this place has potential, but needs work right now as it was not worth the $400 bill.

    Best mussels I’ve ever had! Drinks, appetizers and entrees were all unique and delicious. Entrees portions are incredibly generous. The ambiance is very beautiful and pleasant. I’m very excited to dine here again many times.
