We went for afternoon tea the staff were amazing nothing was too much trouble. The food and service was excellent would decently recommend.

Amazing service and the most delicious food. Just extremely loud and echoey which made it uncomfortable and difficult to hear people around the table. Beautiful view. Best Sunday Roast I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Very grateful to swap the veggie roulade for sausages as they were exceptional and don’t think the roulade was the best option to go with gravy etc. Highly , highly recommend - especially as it is dog friendly! Thank you so much for the complimentary birthday scone for my Mum!

Delicious afternoon tea to celebrate a birthday. Far too much to eat in one go but happy to take the rest home. Great service where everything was no problem. Lovely quiet location overlooking the lake.

Lovely as ever the food was fantastic, our original waiter said they didn’t have a wine list so it was a guessing game and he didn’t offer any choices. The way he said was they didn’t do wine anymore until I pushed and he the said they did but I had to specify a pinot

Tried to book a table for 5 but couldn’t due to system error so had to leave a party member out. Multiple People seated after us were served first, took 15 minutes for order to be taken. Order came out incomplete and then when plate was taken back for fixing it came out without the specifics asked for but had already waited long enough at that point so took the food. We’ve been before a few times and this was not the usual, slightly disappointing especially as our last booking was cancelled by them due to building work. May not return for a while and hope they work out whatever glitches they’ve got atm
