    Stunning food! Amazing options and it tasted amazing. Nothing was too much, and all staff were polite and friendly. Great atmosphere, lots of afternoon teas being made and enjoyed by all. Fab experiance.

    Very disappointed to find out on arrival that the Christmas lunch was only available on Thursday-Saturday. This is not stated at all on the board in the restaurant as was the main reason we booked here. Also ,despite our early booking of 12:30 we were told on arrival that they were sold out of chunky fries and fish cakes. The selection of cakes was limited.

    So busy! So many tables squashed in to a small area with too many ppl. Food was fine. Service was quick

    Never had a bad meal here in 4 years but something was different today. New staff perhaps? I didn't recognise any of them, slow service and average food. The fries were soggy and not cooked enough. The festive sausage roll was dry, the egg was completely tasteless. The mince pie was delicious though. Very slow to clear tables. I'm hoping it was just a one off because it's usually good here, so it hasn't put me off and I will come again.

    Went past year and was really looking forward to it again. Sandwiches and pigs in blankets were fine. Potatoes cubes weren't that warm. The cakes were a let down. It seemed they were shopped brought. Home made carrot cake, large mince pies, macarons on last year's. The cakes that was on the the afternoon tea was very dry and had no taste. Love going to Alderford for food but this experience was a big let down and for £25 a head was t bit much for what we had

    We sat in the conservatory part and it was lovely we were a larger table of 8 and it worked out perfect. Staff were very friendly and the service of the good came out very fast, with little ones that was a huge bonus

    Amazing service and food quality was unbelievable, the best pancakes I have ever had. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Will definitely be coming back!!

    Awful breakfast. Eggs not remotely cooked, white was liquid. Beans were cold. Tomatoes raw. They have also downgraded the bread, cheap brown bread. Very poor.

    Food choices were good an the chef very accommodating for my friends dietary needs. Lovely place to eat can be a bit noisy due the design of the building though.
