A welcoming neighborhood restaurant on the edge of Boston’s West End, Alcove is filled with comfortable American fare with a New England seafood flair & great cocktails from hospitality veteran Tom Schlesinger-Guidelli. Both the airy dining room and large patio look out onto the Charles River & provide spectacular views of the Zakim Bridge. A stones throw away from TD Garden, and within walking distance of the North End, Paul Revere House, Faneuil Hall, Freedom Trail, Downtown, Charlestown Navy Yard, USS Constitution, Tea Party ships + museum, Haymarket, Boston Common, Beacon Hill, State House, ferries, & the Greenway.

We offer a variety of unique spaces for private groups of 12 to larger groups of 270.

Founded in 1998 by Ehren Jordan, Failla has earned its place among California’s finest, crafting wines that showcase the essence of each vineyard’s unique terroir. The evening begins with a 7PM reception into a 7:30pm multi-course dinner thoughtfully paired with Failla’s signature wines, highlighting their expressive flavor profiles & balance. Owner + winemaker Ehren Jordan will spend his one night in Boston with us, sharing the stories and philosophy behind his wines and making this an intimate and enriching experience.

Me gustó todo excepto el loop de la música, se repetía mucho. Resalto la deliciosa comida, el cordero delicioso y el postre (poched pear), también la atención de Kevin. Siempre es bueno un restaurante con personal bilingüe como él. Fue súper amable.

Great food, service was quick and waiters were polite but didn’t check in super often which may be a positive or a negative for you- I personally enjoyed it and would definitely eat here again.

Food is fresh, creative, and tasty. Portion size is good. Smashed potatoes are the best! Raspberry Lime Rickey invokes memories of Brigham's soda fountain but with a kick.

We had a 5:30 reservation and we’re heading to a Bruins game at 7. We ordered within 15 minutes of being seated. We did not get our entrees until 6:45. They provided no updates on the status of our order until 5 minutes before our food finally arrived. We got a very weak “We were really backed up” sort-of apology and no adjustment of the bill or any other consideration. Good food, nice room, but terrible experience.
