Albert's Standish is a stunning restaurant and bar which also has a private dining room and 2 private event spaces. The restaurant space can accommodate dining for 200 guests and a fabulous covered and heated outside dining terrace perfect for alfresco dining.

The venue has ample car parking and provides a picturesque environment for dining. The menu includes traditional British favourites like home-made Lancashire Cheese and Onion Pie as well as cuisine inspired by the family’s travels around the world.

The restaurant is open Tuesday - Sunday for lunch and dinner, Saturdays and Sundays are also open for breakfast.

Everything about our visit was outstanding from the greeting as we got there to the meal ordering , everything was friendly , cheerful and professional . The food we ordered was all lovely, piping hot and full of flavour . We had the 2 courses form£14.95 menu and it was superb I would highly recommended Albert’s

We love Albert's at Standish, it's contemporary, lively and friendly but still feels classy and special. The menu is not too long and changes enough to keep it interesting. The staff are young and approachable and seem to take a genuine pride in the service they deliver; quite a refreshing change these days. Our latest visit, with starter, main, desert, wine, cocktails and one liqueur coffee came to about £50 per head which is really good value for the class of the place and the excellent food. We'll be back.

Didn’t want to post a negative review but today’s visit was my first disappointing visit to Albert’s Standish. The lamb roast dinner left much to be desired. Lamb was tough and tasteless. It looked nice on the plate but some chunks could not be cut and there was a lot (over half) of fat. Rest of the dinner especially the mash was cold and how anyone can call that purée winter greens is beyond me. I would have ordered extra veg had I have known. The wheelchair access needs a door that can be propped open temporarily whilst I pushed the wheelchair out, I can’t hold a door and push at the same time, very frustrating as that’s quite a basic requirement. To top it off, no loo paper in the disabled loo. Shame we had guests with us otherwise I’d have had more to say during the visit.
