The fish quality is next level. From the greeting to the departure this place is one of the best experiences I have had. I enjoyed every one of the 15 plates served. Fish was super fresh, presentation was wonderful and each bite had me eager for the next. Will def fly back to Chicago just to come here. Entire staff was awesome and very down to earth. If I could give this place a 10 it would be an 11. Highly recommending Aji!

We walked up to a facade that looked like it might not be open. Black windows and doors. One long white lazer light as the sole indicator of life inside. Try the door and step into another world. Wood decor, plush seating, three servers, chill vibe, everyone down for the experience. Food was AMAZING. Service IMPECCABLE. Everything ON POINT. What a special evening. We could not have asked for more or better. We'd do it again in a heartbeat. It ain't cheap, but that is not what you sign up for with Omakase style. Aji was fantastic. Special. Delicious. Superb.

The food, the space and the talented chefs made Aji such a great experience for us. I’m so glad I chose here for my boyfriend’s birthday. It’s a small and intimate space just for the people that reserved the seating time (about 10 people). The chefs and owner all chat with everyone throughout the service making the environment fun and friendly. The sushi was absolutely amazing. Every piece was so pretty and well thought out. I found myself doing a little happy dance in my chair after each course. I will definitely be back!

This was our first Omakase experience. We loved Nick, Christian, and Agun. It was like having a dinner w family. The food was amazing! The dessert was spectacular!!! A great way to celebrate NYE!!!

Amazing omakase experience. Very creative bites that showcase the chef’s creativity and included many ingredients I had never heard of before which was a delight. Service was impeccable and they made for a wonderful evening.
