   We had a lovely dinner at Agua. Ask for a table outside for sure! We timed it to enjoy the boat action while it was still daylight, but also got to see the big beautiful moon come up and the twinkling lights on the palms as it got dark. We started with the Nippon Ceviche and it was fantastic! For our mains, my husband got the Agua Tuna (this is what they’re known for) and he said it was phenomenal. I ordered the Caribbean Ravioli and thought it was okay. The parsley cream got to be a bit much after awhile. Both portions were very generous. Bonus, my son was thrilled because they offered steak on the kids menu!! For drinks, we started with a cocktail, then moved to wine. My husband had the best traditional Negroni and again, what I ordered I didn’t love. It was a take on a spicy margarita, but I personally wouldn’t put it in the margarita category. It was more heavy on coconut and white cocoa flavor, overtaking any tequila flavor. Here’s where things could’ve gone very bad depending on the person. We ordered an $80 bottle of wine and the waitress had mistaken it for the $180 bottle right below it on the menu. The bottles are each numbered so not sure how this could even happen. With that said, we THOROUGHLY enjoyed the bottle and therefore didn’t raise a fuss. In fact, all through dinner my husband commented multiple times how amazing it was 😂. Now we know why!!! Will be a story to laugh about for some time! We would absolutely go back, but given the incredible culinary scene on this island, the bar is high. Because of the inconsistency with our drinks and meals and the crazy wine story, we feel 4 stars is a good representation of our evening.

   Great experience and attention was super! Passionate Chef in charge of two food culture that merge on a fantastic way to create very authentic dishes. Italian and Peruvian cuisine at its best.

   This is a hidden gem. Probably the best meal I've had. Ceviche was the best. The gnocchi was outstanding and we shared the Chicken a la Brasa and it was so moist and flavorful. Our waiter (and I can't remember his name) was outstanding. So knowledgeable and helpful. The service is fantastic. We will be back.

    Frozen mushy stone crabs , oyster not cold just room temperature. Sides were cold and burnt . Beef Wellington salty and fair. So surprised. Always one of fav places. Won’t be back
