Agnes Restaurant and Cheesery is a neighborhood oasis that showcases live-fire cooking with seasonal ingredients behind an adorable cheese shop that offers unique and thoughtfully curated artisan cheeses and renowned provisions.

With our spaces for large parties, an open kitchen, darling outdoor patio, and a beautiful marketplace, Agnes offers many opportunities for celebrating a wide variety of occasions.

The holidays are a wonderful time to discover Agnes with the Cheesery offering several stunning products worth sharing with all of your friends and family. From large format cheese, meat and crudité platters, tinned fish, delicious gifts, freshly baked treats, to our decadent Sides & Pies holiday offerings. Such amazing food and vibes here. The two of us had the spiced pecans, babe farm lettuces, cheese curds, scallops, radiators in red sauce, and banana pudding- all excellent!

My 2nd time here. Food is always solid but their chicken liver hush puppies are the reason I will keep coming back. It’s also a great place to catch up with a friend since the restaurant is very spacious with a chill vibe.

I was intrigued by the menu which looked interesting. I also love fine cheese, so it seemed like a good place to try. I wasn’t blown away by the food, overall. And the service was subpar. Our waiter seemed disinterested and barely checked in on us. We waited longer for our drinks and food than I would have liked. The music was very loud, making it difficult to have a conversation without raising our voices. Personally, I have grown to hate this aspect of most trendy restaurants these days. We started with the cheese board and tinned fish apps. These were terrific and probably my favorite part of the meal. I had the Pachamama Pork Chop served on coconut grits and persimmon honey mustard as my entree which I found very tasty but overpriced at $58. My wife was disappointed with the Radiators in Red Sauce. I didn’t like it very much either. My Father had the Fried Chicken and didn’t like it at all. I thought it okay but not great. Disappointing overall. We did enjoy the Thai Fried Banana Split for dessert. Probably wouldn’t dine here again.

Cute place, anything with cheese hit the spot. Ordered fried chicken and all we got was a drum & a thigh, both had hardly any meat on them. So if I go back I’ll stick to their cheese dishes only.

The food here is beyond great!! We love the ambiance and the wood fired grill adds a romantic vibe too. Their wine list is wonderful and they have a great selection of aperitifs as well. The staff are very friendly and attentive to making your experience a fantastic one! I highly recommend this restaurant. They also have a Cheesery and the selection of cheeses is ABSOLUTELY fantastic!! Great for gift shopping too. Lots of tin fish, oils, wine…I could go on and on.
