Saturdays and Sundays from 2:00pm – 4:00pm at Lakeside Dining.

The room was lovely - ambiance was great. Service was fair at best - we ordered a bottle of wine and after the initial pour we had to pour our own . The food was at par for an afternoon tea - kuddos to the scones , the egg salad and a couple of the desserts. We had to follow up with the server to ask for our bill. I don’t think I would pay for this experience again - not worth the money

We had a really nice time today. We ate every last bit and drank every drop of tea. We thoroughly enjoyed it all.

The setting is wonderful and the atmosphere great. The service was very good, polite but not overbearing. Our waitress was very attentive and gracious. We loved the white tablecloths and china and the gentle mist coming down on a very hot day. The food was mediocre and the bread & scones a little stale. All but two pastries were a bit tasteless. It was not good value for the price. The food did not match the lovely surroundings and service, a real shame. I am not sure why they asked when confirming the reservation if it was for a special occasion (several times) if there was nothing they did with that information.

The food was unacceptable for the price. Not even any fruit on the plate. Even my 9 year old granddaughter was still hungry. Loves sweets and said there were too many sweets. Savoury sandwiches were tasteless. Would not recommend.

Such a lovely experience! The service was wonderful and the view was excellent. The price seemed a bit steep for a sandwich and some sweets, though.

The food seems to be made early in the day and refrigerated. Everything was quite cold and did not taste like it was freshly made. We felt that the price was high for the quality. The tea was lovely though and El Dorado is a quaint location.

Arrived for 2pm afternoon tea to celebrate a birthday and chose the Sparkling Tea menu. The ambience and view of the marina is beautiful! The high tea selection of savoury and sweets were all very nice (you will need to ask for jam). I think a better selection of teas to choose from, would bring the experience up a notch. It did get very loud in the tea room, to a point where you we could not hear our conversation at our own table (the table behind and beside us has ladies talking at full volume). Our server was good, but not outstanding (we had to flag her down a couple of times). Overall, nice to try, but would not rate this as one of my best high tea experiences.

Service was slow, table cloth was dirty, tea was not "loose leaf" as advertised- just a store bought brand, tea pot was broken/chipped, food was average at best. Staff was friendly but not worth the price - little to no value here. Will go back to Eldorado but not for tea. Average at best. Best word to describe experience was "meh"
