The location is beautiful and the food was okay. Personally I thought The sandwiches could have used a little more flavour for my liking and I would have rather had a few more scones and cream over the meringue desert. It was extremely noisy and crowded. Overall it wasn’t the quaint high tea we were looking for.

Great outing even with two 16 year olds. We loved the atmosphere and the delicious offerings. This will definitely be a holiday tradition from here on in.

It was An amazing experience. My mother who had the gluten free menu was fantastic according to her. The servers were amazing for us. We loved the whole experience.

The service was great but the food was tasteless. It was very expensive for amount of food we got. We weren't expecting tons of food but $100 for a few items that were the size of twoonies is ridiculous. Poor value for the money. I would not recommend it based on my experience.

The room was lovely - ambiance was great. Service was fair at best - we ordered a bottle of wine and after the initial pour we had to pour our own . The food was at par for an afternoon tea - kuddos to the scones , the egg salad and a couple of the desserts. We had to follow up with the server to ask for our bill. I don’t think I would pay for this experience again - not worth the money

We had a really nice time today. We ate every last bit and drank every drop of tea. We thoroughly enjoyed it all.

The setting is wonderful and the atmosphere great. The service was very good, polite but not overbearing. Our waitress was very attentive and gracious. We loved the white tablecloths and china and the gentle mist coming down on a very hot day. The food was mediocre and the bread & scones a little stale. All but two pastries were a bit tasteless. It was not good value for the price. The food did not match the lovely surroundings and service, a real shame. I am not sure why they asked when confirming the reservation if it was for a special occasion (several times) if there was nothing they did with that information.

The food was unacceptable for the price. Not even any fruit on the plate. Even my 9 year old granddaughter was still hungry. Loves sweets and said there were too many sweets. Savoury sandwiches were tasteless. Would not recommend.

Such a lovely experience! The service was wonderful and the view was excellent. The price seemed a bit steep for a sandwich and some sweets, though.

The food seems to be made early in the day and refrigerated. Everything was quite cold and did not taste like it was freshly made. We felt that the price was high for the quality. The tea was lovely though and El Dorado is a quaint location.
