located in the heart of charming Arroyo Seco, ACEQ restaurant is unique and eclectic. Chef and Owner Elijah Safford takes pride in sourcing the best quality ingredients, eclectic and exciting wines, craft beers and fantastic cocktails. At the young age of 23 Chef Safford has managed to take ACEQ to new heights. Backed by a team of service industry veterans and professionals, ACEQ strives for true quality service and experience. The art and passion that ACEQ represents can be felt the minute you walk through the door.

When you join us, there are a few things you can not miss out on, locally sourced Wangus steaks, the Whisky Basil cocktail and of course the Bison Chile Fries. ACEQ has food for everyone. Any dietary restriction will find something tasty. Don't be afraid to strike a conversation with your server and allow them to guide you through your experience

The food and drinks were very, very good, but everything else was shockingly bad: It was very hard to find a place to park. Every time the door opened we were hit with a blast of cold air. It was very loud in the dining room. The service was horrible. We spent more time waiting than ordering/eating. Our server walked right past us many times while we were clearly waiting for her. Our table had no silverware/napkins when we were seated. When our salads were brought out we still didn't. We had to ask for silverware. The server we asked didn't hear us at first because he had earbuds in. Our silverware was taken with the salad dishes and not replaced. We had to ask for silverware again after our entrees were brought out. We saw servers drop things on the floor and then just leave them there. It was actually comically bad.

Lovely ambiance. Highly recommended to us so we were eager to go. We got there on an off night however. Both entrees were brought to us missing key ingredients (asparagus on one, shrimp on the other). Server was apologetic and then brought out the missing ingredients on separate small plates. The entrees were discounted by the manager but then my credit card was charged for another table's check (their bill was >$100 over ours). The mistake was promptly corrected but it was a fitting ending to our error-filled night. It is a meal we will long remember but not for the right reasons. Hopefully an aberration. Other reviews look great.

We drove through a snowstorm and were glad we did. Drinks and food were delicious and we look forward to dining again!

Absolutely delicious! So grateful for ACEQ in Taos 🤍 got the local wagu steak and it was phenomenal.

We started with the grilled romaine salad. I followed that with the lamb special. Delighted with everything and ACEQ is less than two miles from our home. Also, the Whole Cluster Pinot Noir from Willamette Valley Vineyards is back on the wine list and can be ordered by the glass.
