My dining experience was excellent. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by the owner and felt welcome! The menu had many great options and the dishes came out at appropriate times, rather than all at once! We ordered the yak jhok momo, shyakpa - Himalayan meat stew, braised pork belly, tarua, braised yak ribs, butter chicken and sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream. Each dish was flavourful and delicious. On top of the delicious food, the staff were friendly and accommodating making the experience even better.

Food was excellent, presentation too. Smaller place but all tables were full. Staff were attentive and helpful describing dishes we were unfamiliar with. Love supporting small local places. I will be back for sure.

From the recommended wine pairing to the appetizer dumplings to the yak tenderloin, Outstanding! We were a little worried about oil and butter, as per our previous experiences with Indian-Pakistani-Nepales foods, but Aama's food was perfect. A higher level of cuisine indeed!

We have been going to Aama since they opened. Their service, food quality and ambiance has never been anything other than outstanding. There is not a restaurant in the Calgary, Cochrane and surrounding areas that I would recommend more. Thank you for every thing today, Chef G. 🙏
