Capitol Cider se fundó en 2013. Es un restaurante, bar completo, licorería y sitio musical en el corazón de Capitol Hill, Seattle. Ofrece más de 170 sidras de barril y en botella, 10 cervezas artesanales de barril, y licores a base de manzana como vodka, gin y calvados (aguardiente). El menú de alimentos de pub moderno es completamente libre de gluten. La atmósfera cuenta con paneles obscuros, una colección de copias maestras de pinturas famosas, libros antiguos y elementos de arquitectura de época. En la planta baja hay mesas de shuffleboard, juegos de mesa, juegos de preguntas, y televisiones (ocultas) para mirar eventos deportivos locales y culturales. El propietario ha creado un programa sólido de artes y eventos como Drink and Draw, música en vivo, pláticas de arte y literatura, noches de juego y más. Our NYE dinner was a bit frustrating as only 1 option for 2nd and 3rd course were available which was very upsetting. The 4th course option was the Filet Mignon and even though we ordered medium the steak was rare and had to be re-made. Even though the ambience and the service was good, the frustration will probably keep us from coming back soon.

We had the NYE dinner at a stir, and it was great! It’s so amazing to have this dedicated GF kitchen restaurant, and the menu accommodated our additional needs (no eggs/dairy) as well, while having a really fun course menu for the special occasion. I had the duck and my husband had the vegan lasagna, which managed to be very cheesy and rich tasting. We even got to have 2 different desserts to have & compare, which almost never happens while being GF/DF/egg-free. Everything was delicious. The cocktail menu was fun too, with good zero-proof selections to boot. We have memories of having good cider flights here too, which we’ll have to reprise. We will definitely go back.

Excellent menu. Dishes well prepared. Cider flight was okay; 1 excellent, 1 not so much, and 1 pretty terrible.

A Magical Birthday at A Stir We celebrated a birthday at A Stir with a group of 10, including friends with dietary restrictions like Celiac, dairy and alcohol allergies, vegan, and vegetarian diets. The staff was incredibly accommodating, and our server made our large group feel like an intimate table. Everyone loved their food and beverages—no one felt left out. The flavors, quality, and care were outstanding, creating a truly magical experience for our guest of honor. The atmosphere added to the magic, creating the perfect backdrop for our celebration. It truly felt like a special occasion, and our guest of honor couldn’t stop raving about how perfect everything was. A Stir is a must-visit for anyone looking for impeccable food, outstanding service, and an inclusive dining experience. We can’t wait to return!

Delicious. We were a party of 8. Two people needed gluten-free and it was so nice that they could order whatever they wanted. Everyone said how delicious the food was. We will definitely go back again!

This was a fantastic dining experience. The chef was the greeter and it was wonderful to meet him! The waitstaff was as knowledge, helpful, and patient. The food was delicious and the menu was curated beautifully. You have to try the corn gibblets!

I made dinner reservations for my staff at A Stir after a conference in Seattle, though I was unable to attend myself—and I must say, I’m so bummed I missed it! The following Monday, I was greeted in the office by my entire team raving about how amazing the food and service were. Every dish was packed with flavor and crafted with quality. With team members who are gluten-free, it was crucial to find a restaurant that offered more than just a basic salad. A Stir exceeded expectations with a full menu of creative, nutritious dishes and an extensive selection of wine, cider, and gluten-free beer. On the morning of our reservation, I received a thoughtful email from the executive chef, Ton, with personalized recommendations. This added such a nice touch and made the experience even smoother for my team. Our reservation was at 6:15, and when my team arrived, dishes were freshly served, hot, and ready—a perfect way to unwind after a long few days at the conference. Dining at A Stir was the ideal way to close out their weekend, and I can’t wait to visit on my next trip to Seattle to experience it myself. Thank you, Ton and the entire A Stir team, for providing my staff with such a refreshing and memorable dining experience!
