We enjoyed the Thursday evening special, Chateaubriand for Two. The beef was cooked to perfection at medium rare, the horseradish cream sauce delightful, and the portion generous. We had a lively discussion over the interesting choices of compound butters or sauces as accompaniments. Oysters as a first course was the right choice! It was tough to choose side dishes but we finally landed on Parmesan roasted asparagus and sautéed mushrooms. Again, the right choice. We finished our evening with a beautiful crème brûlée which was not too rich, not too sweet and with a perfect caramelized sugar top layer. Our server, Colin, was helpful with his suggestions and perfectly attentive without hovering. Fabulous cocktails, too. We can’t wait to go back to 53 on our next trip to the Cape.

The wine dinner was excellent! The food pairings were perfect throughout each course of the meal! If you haven't been to a Wine dinner there....you should try it!

Steaks were fantastic! Sides (truffle fries, asparagus, mashed potatoes) were ok. Salad and shrimp were delightful. Dessert was good. Waitress was new but was able to get all our questions answered. Manager/hostess was extremely kind and gave us dessert on the house for us as we were celebrating a birthday.

Excellent! The food was cooked perfectly and the flavor was just 😙👌🏼. Colin was our server - attentive and knowledgeable. We had the catch of the day (an amazing tuna) and the petite filet. My husband and I like to try new places all the time but we will be coming back for more here! Saw other reviews about the price but we thought it was competitive with other similar restaurants and the food was well worth it.

Our server, Jeremy, provided professional and friendly service. He explained the menu and the various options available for the evening. He was energetic and upbeat, which made our birthday dinner celebration an evening to remember. Nancy, our hostess, discussed some of the history of the restaurant as well as her joy in working there. Yea Nancy.

They say a third time is a charm- well this establishment keeps getting more and more illustrious as we visit each time. For having many patrons amongst the crowd, the manager still had time to come over and say hi and show her appreciation of us returning. The service was exceptional with great wines and the food as always over the top. To all the natives in Cape Cod, this is the go to for a great steak dinner. I say probably one of the best on the island. This showed this as many patrons were trying to get seated, my advisement is to get reservations in advance and come in and experience this wonderful place .
