The service from front of house , server, bar staff was exceptional. The kitchen dropped the ball and at this price point we won't be back. We have counted on 401 for excellent food and we're extremely disappointed. Called ahead for a rare prime rib and were promised one. Rib was basically diner quality, drowned in au jus to hide over cooking. My food was delicious but incorrect. Veggie soup was really mushroom soup and crab cake Mac and cheese was basic Mac and Cheese , no crab at all! It was valentines weekend but no more crowded than a usual summer Saturday night.. we were velour 40th wedding anniversary and could have gone anywhere but chose 401 and left very disappointed.

My wife and I dinned at 401 Prime on 2/15/2025 for a valentine’s date night. Steven was our server and I must say, the best experience we ever had. This was our first date night since moving to Lancaster from California and Steven made it a night to remember. Ask for Steven!!!

My wife and I we had a great time having dinner there for Valentines Day! Our waitress Joseph was very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious. We look forward to go back.

Arrived a few minutes early for our reservation but had to wait past our reservation time until we were seated although there was an open table across from the table we were eventually sat at. Service was not what I would have expected for an upscale steakhouse. It was nearly an hour from the time we received our appetizer until our entrees came but tables who had been sat after us received their meals before us. Not sure if our server forgot to fire our entrees in a timely manner or if the kitchen got that wrong. Either way - not great and certainly no apologies for their poor timing. There was also a family with a young child seated across from us and their child watched shows on their iPad with the volume loud enough that we could hear. Not a great experience, would not return.

We had a wonderful early Valentine’s Day dinner! The food was delicious and the service was outstanding! We are looking forward to dining there again!

Excellent service and amazing food. Everything, from start to finish, was terrific. Definitely a great place to celebrate a special occassion.

We went for my wife’s birthday and the food is delicious and wine is very good. Our waiter Joseph is amazing always checking on us if we need something.a very relaxing place I will come back again for sure.finally a good place to eat and drink.a must try to visit
