Great location. Great view. Great interior design. Food was OK (it was not a great cut of steak: was room temp when it arrived, mushy), the fries and caesar salad were both great. Would go back.

Beautiful restaurant with sweeping views. The service was outstanding and the waitstaff and bussers generally friendly and knowledgeable. Toby our busser and Tom our waiter were fantastic, thoughtful and knowledgeable with the menu and sharing what their favorite items were. The food was delicious! My husband had the Terre and I had the 16oz NY steak which was huge and packed with flavor. Everyone was super nice, even the GM who acknowledged and thanked us on the way out! A+++ all around.

Wine list was ridiculously expensive. 400 for silver oak Alexander valley is crazy. Bottle is under 100 retail

We had high hopes for this restaurant, being on the top floor of the Ramon Hotel. We were not disappointed, but only a small section is actually outside so you need to ask for outside outside. The view of Palm Springs is amazing. The hostess team was very professional and friendly, which was nice and not necessarily the norm in PS. The serving staff was professional and attentive. Dinner was Bouillabaisse (which could have been more substantial for the price), and Coq au Vin, which was nicely cooked, with a generous portion of chicken. The food came out hot, but the plates were not hot, and this could have made a positive difference, as we were outside. Dessert was deconstructed pumpkin pie which was tasty and nicely presented. A nice dinner in a great location.

The setting is beautiful. The staff were excellent throughout. The food portions were adequate, but some items were over-seasoned (lots and lots of salt) while other items were very bland (turkey, stuffing). Our cocktails were good. A small side order of baked mini potatoes, despite its colorful drizzle, was uninspiring. Overall, after discussing our experience as we left, we would describe the food as good, not stellar, although some of the menu items were unique. The bill for 2 people with 2 appetizers, 3 cocktails and two specials from the holiday menu, without dessert came to $360 with tip. The turkey special was mostly bland, even though it had been described to include a citrus glaze (which was undetectable). The ribeye special was large, but very fatty. The food was beautifully plated and served, and the seating design allowed for both intimate booths and large group tables, both indoors and on the patio. Unfortunately, in Palm Springs, we feel there are better culinary options for less money. The best things about the restaurant were the setting and the well-trained and friendly staff, but in our opinion, the food we tasted did not justify the price. When most restaurants are packed to capacity and beyond on Thanksgiving Day, 4 Kings was at about 3/4 capacity when we were there. It was a reasonably pleasant dining experience. Not bad. Not terrific. We give it 3 stars, overall, with 5 stars to the staff. We were especially appreciative of the staff for providing excellent service to diners on a holiday.
