My wife and I have had an on and off again relationship with Shula’s since it opened many years ago. Most recently, when they reopened after COVID, they pretty much doubled their prices. The food was considerably better, but over time, they seemed to go back to their old so-so Choice cuts and it certainly wasn't worth what they were charging. We decided to go back the other night and noticed that among other changes, they are now adding an automatic 20% tip to all checks. More on this later, but the food was okay. My wife really enjoyed her crab cakes, but my NY strip was around 40% gristle. The rest was cooked well and tasted good, and the sides were also pretty tasty. The steak was quite disappointing given that they charge near-prime prices for their Choice aka "Shula’s cut". The service from Greg, a long-time employee was great as always. He's a really nice guy and attentive server. However, by the time our check had arrived, I foolishly forgot about the automatic tip and left him a generous tip on top of it. I ended up leaving over 50% tip combined. As we drove off, I realized my mistake and was mad as hell. First of all, there was a statement about the mandatory tip supporting a living wage. I don't like politics mixed with my meal and it's not the customers' responsibility to subsidize their payroll. If the owners are so concerned, they should pay their employees higher wages. A flat 20% does little to motivate servers to provide exceptional service. Second in Miami Beach and elsewhere in the US, where they do this, they usually have a sign on the table and a bold additional gratuity line on the check. Shula’s does not, and looking at other reviews, I see that I'm far from the only person who left an additional tip thinking it was a normal tip. Finally, they may have gotten my money this time, but they won't get another cent from me, and if they knew anything about business they would know it's built on repeat customers, not making a quick buck.

Great food, great service and good overall atmosphere. Me and my wife both enjoyed everything about it. We will be back!

Shula’s 347 Grille always comes through! From Valet Parking, Greeting, Service,, Drinks&Appetizers to a Delicious Dinner and Dessert, the dining experience was amazing!!!

It was excellent as it most always is. Also, I wouldn’t mind doing these things if you wouldn’t make me use so many words. It was good. What more do you need?

Made last minute reservations for a birthday dinner. Restaurant did not disappoint. Food was good, por server Lucas was very helpful and took great care of us. Will definitely visit next time I. Town

The service at this restaurant was great but the food was OK. It was good but when you spend over $200 on dinner you expect it to be over the top. Not sure I would eat here again.
