Located downtown Bridgeport CT, 29 Markle Ct. Awarded "Best New Restaurant 2023" by the Connecticut Restaurant Associations "CRAZIES Awards". Upscale New American Cuisine, focused on local, coastal ingredients and smoked methods of cooking. Exec Chef, @chefdamondaye.

We gladly accept walk-ins at the bar on a first come first served basis. A 15-minute grace period is allotted to your arrival time should you run late. After 15 minutes your reservation will be released and offered to guests on our waitlist. All guests must be present to be seated. Tables are reserved for one & half hours. For parties of 6 or more, a $25 per person credit card hold is required to confirm your reservation. No shows and or unconfirmed cancellations risk forfeit of held funds. If you would like to book a catering event or a reservation for a larger party (8+), please send an email to restaurant@29marklect.com. All larger party requests must be confirmed and require a credit card. Thank you.

What a gem of a restaurant!! The food was amazing. Everything we ordered was delicious. Great service and beautiful ambience. We were in the area to go to the Bijou and so happy I had reserved this restaurant. Definitely make reservations if you go. Highly recommend.

This was the very BEST eating experience I’ve had in a restaurant for a very long time. Compliments to the Chef who actually came out to see how people were doing. Great series well. Highly recommend.

The food was amazing. We had the roasted broccolini with whipped ricotta, the seared sea scallops with risotto and the pesto pasta. Each dish was delicious. We also ordered the Old Money and Mr. Manhattan cocktails which were expertly crafted. Highly recommend and will be going again.

Love returning back to 29 Markle. The food is phenomenal, including my favorite half smoked chicken. Even love the broccolini, Brussel sprouts, and Caesar salad. And always a delicious dessert! Highly recommend!

We had high expectations coming here after hearing lots of great things. Unique, well balanced flavors. We especially lived the crab balls, jollof rice, and the halibut. Service was a little hit or miss with 3 different people asking what kind of water we wanted before actually bringing it to us as well as drinks going missing and some other unusual questions but it was all done with a smile. Probably just some kinks to work out with new house staff? That shouldn't detract from the restaurants appeal, however, as it's nice to see a place like 29 Markle thrive in downtown Bridgeport. We'd definitely return!

A great dining experience. Creative food done very well couples with outstanding cocktails. Pleasant and friendly staff. Chef Damon is a talented chef and a wonderful presence in the dining room.

The food, service and ambience was great. This spot in downtown Bridgeport is a lovely find. If you are looking for tasty and delicious food on your night out, this is the place for you. Go and enjoy 😉 😊 you will not be disappointed.
