Quiessence is a fine dining, true farm to table restaurant located at The Farm at South Mountain, a 10 acre oasis by South Mountain. We have a 2 acre organic garden onsite that we utilize as much as possible for our dishes. Our menu changes regularly based on local and seasonal availability. We offer tasting menus with the option of doing 3, 4 or 5 courses. The restaurant itself is housed in the original farmhouse of the property giving the restaurant plenty of rustic charm. Patio dining is also highly sought after when the weather is nice.

    The Quiessence signature Brick Oven experience is an exclusive private eight-course dinner under the gazebo next to a working fireplace. With all ingredients straight from the garden, the fresh flavors of the farm shine through in our contemporary spin on traditional culinary techniques. During your meal, the Quiessence team will educate you on the dishes available that night, the origin of the ingredients and their preparation, and which cocktails or wine pair perfectly with your exceptional meal. Please note, the Brick Oven is available for only one reservation each night, for two to six guests. 185 per person plus 20% service charge.

                                    What an absolutely delightful evening spent celebrating my husband’s birthday. We chose the oven brick seating, but started inside due to the direct sun in that area. The ambiance was exceptional. Really cozy setting. The food was unbelievable. So many unique and tasty dishes!! When it got cooler we migrated outside and finished our dining experience under the stars. So beautiful and peaceful! What an absolutely amazing experience. Highly recommended and will return sooner than later

                                    We were absolutely blown away by both the service and the food! Our waiter was incredible—he even gave us a behind-the-scenes tour, including the kitchen, which was not only spotless but full of passionate staff excited to share their craft. The farm-to-table concept was executed perfectly, and everything we tasted was exceptional. Yes, it's on the pricier side, but the experience is truly unforgettable and 100% worth it. Can't recommend it enough!

                                    This was an outstanding dining experience. The wait staff were fully engaged and helped provide us with many memorable moments, including an impromptu tour of the kitchen and meeting all the chefs. Each dish is artfully presented. I would highly recommend this restaurant, which also took care of my food allergies with unique recommendations. The Head chef is celiac.

                                    Beautiful dinner in a stunning garden amongst the stars. The first course was amazing and an interesting twist on Caesar salad. Our main course was equally fantastic with tastebud sensations! My salmon was thick and delicious. The accompanying sauces elevated the plate. Dessert was the only course that was just okay and not the same level of taste sensation as the rest. The lemon sorbet was almost unpalatable it was so tart. Regardless, the evening was spectacular and the restaurant tour made it even more special. Quiescence is a very special place.

                                    What a wonderful way to spend a Thursday evening! The Taste of Q special allowed my wife and I to enjoy an experience we might have otherwise foregone, and it was well worth the effort.
