Pitch is located in the historic Dundee neighborhood. Our establishment is unique in decor, drinks, menu, and staff!

Keeping up with the traditional way the first pizzas in Italy were made, our pizzas are cooked in a coal-fired oven. The menu also features seafood, hand-cut steak, housemade pastas, and a burger full of flavor! Our goal is to provide you with local, housemade, and imported ingredients. We offer a Happy Hour menu through the week. And, our bar provides an array of in-house concoctions as well as your traditional libation! Our wine selection is well-thought and most impressive!! Anytime the food come out at 4 different times for 4 people, I will not give a good review. The first meal to our table arrived nearly 15 minutes before the last meal (reminder, there were FOUR of us, not 20).... my food was luke warm. Two of us asked for crispy bacon (it was brunch) and came out barely cooked, my eggs were cooked wrong as well... Had to ask for butter for our toast, jelly, ketchup, salt/pepper and knives... very unimpressed!

We waited almost 20 minutes and had to ask a server to send our server to our table and then she didn’t even acknowledge the delay. My entree came out 10 minutes later than my friend’s.

All of our dishes came with scrambled eggs. All of the scrambled eggs were cold - not lukewarm. Cold. We had to flag down the server to let him know they were cold. They suggested just bringing plates of scrambled eggs for us, and did - just … plates of scrambled eggs that the diners had to use to remake their dishes at the table and scrape off the cold eggs. Two of us requested to have our dishes remade because the eggs were integral to the dishes. They did remake the two dishes, and the remakes were very good but it took a while. No apologies, no discounts, just … plates of scrambled eggs. We like Pitch but that experience was awful.

Since everything we’ve ever had here is consistently excellent, we did the filet special and the pizza special (Syd). Never an issue here and tonight was another example of an exceptional experience. I gotta say, for a city with incredible steakhouses, Pitch Dundee blew them out of the water with this filet over risotto special. The Syd (pizza special) could likely be the slice that quiets the ‘pineapple on pizza’ naysayers. Spicy. Just sweet enough. Salty. (Oh man. I’m glad I can heat up a couple of leftover slices of that after writing this I’m craving it again!) Jack, our server, was on it as usual and was a great guy to work with.This place is a can’t-miss! Make a reservation even during the week for dinner. You won’t regret it. Check out the house label red wines - outstanding stuff!

We were seated promptly in the back where it was quieter, which was nice for all of us! Nancy, our server was terrific! You must have missed her while she was re-habbing! Lovely evening and great food!
