Great evening, thanks to John L and his team! Worked off the specials tonight (poached pear salad and lobster / crab / pasta) and they were perfect!

Our reservation was at 8:30, we didn’t get seated until 9. We ordered entrees and appetizers at the same time. Our appetizers arrived 45 minutes later. We finally asked our server to make our meals to go. So we spent a total of an hour and a half and only received 2 slices of mozzarella and tomato, and 4 meatballs. Gratuity was already included in the bill, so our server made $30 for stopping at the table 3 times, and we didn’t even eat dinner. I’ll never be back, what a disappointment.

Thank you for the feedback, and I'm sorry you were disappointed with your experience here at Piccola Bussola on Valentine's Day. While you are certainly entitled to express your disappointment with your review, your reasoning doesn't quite align with the facts. Your reservation was at 8:45, not 8:30. You arrived at 8:39 and seated at 8:47. We accommodated your request to order from the regular dinner menu, even though we were only prepared to serve the special Valentine's Day menu. Your order was placed at 9:05, and your credit card payment was recorded at 8:45. So, you received your appetizers, and your entrees packed to go, within an hour of you being seated. We did not know that the regular menu would not be available that evening and we were there for favorite dishes. First waiter crisply announced that the prix fixe was the only one that night and left. Next waiter was more receptive and went to ask permission for the regular menu. From then on, everything was lovely. Place was jammed (Valentine's Day), so we didn't expect the regular prompt service, but we did begin to feel as though we were being ignored until that second waiter took over. Lesson learned and the place does remain a favorite.

I've been here many times. Everything was great, but as the evening wore on service lacked. I had to ask for our water 2x..so that was annoying. Otherwise we really enjoy this restaurant.

A hidden gem!! We love having dinner here, our go to restaurant. You feel like you're dining with family!! The food is phenomenal and the service is impeccable! Highly recommend.
