Tacos Madre Mexican Cocina is the first concept that embodies "comida cacera," which translates "a home style of cooking". The taco fish was absolutely delicious, and the tortilla chips were the best I’ve ever had—especially paired with the three different chili sauces! The place is small but perfectly cozy, making for a very enjoyable dining experience. Highly recommend!

One of my favorite spots in downtown HB. Met up with friends for Halloween dinner and drinks. 5 of 7 of us had never been before. All enjoyed their food and said they'd come back. Good service and friendly wait staff.

Hard to find. It's in a nice courtyard behind other shops, very nice. Large portions of excellent Mexican food.

They were kind enough to put out chips instead of chicharones. The enchilada suiza was really yummy, and the margaritas were delicious too!
