Grotta di Fuoco, which translates to Fire Cave, is an industrial, rustic space with subtle lighting, raw steel, reclaimed wood, and concrete finishes. Step inside, descend below street level, and enter our vision of a cave. As for the fire, our focal point is a wood burning oven right next to the bar. You can sit close enough to feel the warmth, hear the crackle, and smell the scent of food being cooked, all while being entranced by the open flame. While Long Beach is rocking during the summer with the beach, Boardwalk, events, and outdoor dining, winter is when Grotta heats up. Food was delicious. Burrata appetizer was very different and had excellent flavors. Chicken skewers and salmon were also excellent. Drink menu very well done. The Amalfi cocktail was very good. Would go back for sure.

Grotto never disappoints. I find the food great; something for everyone. Cocktail choices very acceptable and reasonable priced. The pizza is the best of the best. Total bill I find very moderate for what we had. We had a small pizza as an appetizer and a shrimp main course and a main course pasta and three alcoholic drinks and one soft drink. A little noisy but a wonderful dinner

Not sure why Open Table has this restaurant at $$$$. This is a delicious Italian restaurant and the prices are very reasonable. The food is scrumptious and the portions are very large. The new owners are friendly and gracious. Jeff, the bartender, mixes great drinks. Definitely coming back soon!

Everything was perfect and delicious!!! Everyone loved their meal! We don’t know how they prepare their chicken- but it’s grilled to perfection!!!! Love Da Nicola!!!!
