We are a small independent family run Italian restaurant in the heart of Chepstow, with indoor and alfresco dining areas. We here at il Fiore believe that a good meal has to be cooked from scratch by using only the finest and freshest ingredients, enjoy a classic carbonara cooked with locally sourced eggs or even a pizza made with our homemade pizza dough. The George hotel is a beautiful 400 year old hotel, currently only used as a restaurant. Taken over in 2020, the restaurant is tastefully decorated, adourning wonderful photos of chepstow through the years. The menu boasts an array of fabulous dishes, from the traditional 'pub grub' with our 2 for £16 menu, to our in house dry aged Steaks, cooked to perfection by our chefs or brought out to you on our signature sizzling hot stones. On a Saturday evening, the restaurant comes alive with wonderful live music, starting off with a relaxed vibe whilst you finish off your meal, and a livelier second half to finish off your evening. Finish the week here on a sunday, where we have fast become the place to come for a sunday lunch, with rave reviews and recommendations across the board. With a vast drinks and food menu, the George is the ideal place to come, either for a relaxed lunch for two, an evening out with friends or a large family gathering.

Upstairs at Landrace is a casual neighbourhood bar & bistro, our food is led by ingredients which are carefully sourced from local farms and market gardens, we work with producers who have a natural approach to growing and use regenerative, high welfare farming techniques. The menu regularly features handmade pasta, line-caught Cornish fish and meat from Haye Farm in Devon, and Huntsham Farm in Herefordshire.You can join us for a quick plate of pasta at lunchtime or a longer celebratory meal with friends & family in the evening. Our menu changes regularly, you can find sample menus updated weekly on our website.The wine/cider list changes regularly, focusing on small European growers and makers.     As like our meal last valentines day in 2024 the service, food and venue was outstanding. The food was cooked and ready within 10 minutes of ordering between courses and the staff were very friendly and helpful like last time. The venue and dimmed lighting make it excellent for couples. The prices was reasonable for both good and drinks and the food is mouthwatering and definitely still the best place I have been for a meal ever.

    Great service, wonderful food and although the restaurant was quite quiet when we were there the staff did not hurry us at all between courses.

    I’m a lover of all Asian food so the combination of so many flavours was the ultimate foody experience. The news of your achievements in producing such a collection of courses each one complementing the others has spread nationwide. I had to drive a 300 mile round trip to Cardiff but it was worth every mile just to be able to sample such excellence. I hope Ask Asia management soon begin a programme of expansions.
