A rural public house serving local beers, Berkshire gin and ciders, as well as a great wine selection. Bar snacks and full meals available 7 days a week. Our second visit within the last month, and this time in the Dining room with direct view of the kitchen - a great improvement on the previous setting. Again we shared the slow cooked shoulder of lamb , this is going to become our favourite dish.

I like this pub for lunch. Today was a meet up with a relative. Service was good and the food excellent. I always book as the pub gets busy at lunch time.

The Denver steak was exceptional! The butternut squash soup with the leek butter on the bread was also delicious. Would definitely recommend.
