Cheltenham races are 34 miles from the Cat.Apart from these attractions, we are in the heart of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) with many wonderful walks direct from our front door. We welcome well-behaved dogs.Our chef’s mission is to serve delicious pub food at reasonable prices. Our ingredients are fresh and largely sourced from local suppliers.     All courses were absolutely delicious. Well seasoned and presented, with great flavours. The two fish dishes I had (tuna starter and prawn main) were melt in your mouth. Friendly and attentive staff too. Highly recommend.

    We went for the Tapas evening and the food was fantastic! Great choice to suit everyone and we enjoyed every option - we had 12 between 4 of us. The service was friendly and efficient and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening. Thank you

    We booked dinner for 19.45 on the 11 of October. We arrived early shown to our table everything was set ready for us. What a beautiful restaurant to dine in my wife had spiced pumpkin soup to start I had the crispy squid if this was an advert for the main course we were in for a treat.My wife had the steak medium to weigh done I had the lamb the food was absolutely perfect and very reasonable The staff were very friendly and helpful so we booked to go back for our wedding anniversary and stay for 2 nights can't wait for May
