It was the first time that we’d sat downstairs in the bar area and I was a little dubious, but the service, ambience and setting were all just as good as being in the main restaurant. The valentines menu was fantastic, great choices and I having the choice of picking the paired wine was an added bonus; all at amazing value. We’ve visited a number of times and will be returning again soon. Fabulous, if you haven’t been you won’t be disappointed!

Without a doubt this restaurant in this underated village of Northumberland should NOT be underrated. The Courtyard is a credit to the Community of Pegswood. We were there for the Valentine’s Day special menu in 2025. The friendliness and welcome of the staff matched the theme of love and care of the day. The food was great quality and very well presented. However, before rushing to 5 star across the board, there is a long enduring element that should be addressed. Having been there a number of times now since it was opened, the service has tended to be slow at busy times. They were still amazing, a credit to the establishment.
