A few short steps from the British Museum, The Blue Door Bistro provides a welcoming and informal bistro-style setting. Light and airy at lunchtime, warm and cosy by evening, the room is decorated on three sides with a panoramic view of London circa 1849. Together with the rich mahogany panelled walls, effective use of mirrored glass, and contemporary wrought iron wall lights, an ambience rooted in the hotel’s location is beautifully achieved. Executive chef, Martin Halls, blends seasonal ingredients and herbs from our garden with classical techniques to create seasonal British menus. Our cuisine is commended with an AA rosette and accredited by the Sustainable Restaurant Association (2 stars). In all of our products, we only use free-range eggs and are committed to sustainable fisheries for our fish supplies. Our team are trained to ensure that your specific dietary requirements are catered for at all times.

Inspired by the famous Cafe Florian in Venice, it is lined, walls and ceiling, with mirrors, gilded panels, original art, and comfortable seating. Jacues Garcia designed a beautiful restaurant on the grand scale of Baroque. Located on High Holborn, close to the British Museum, the restaurant is elegantly designed and filled with original Indian art and antique furniture including century old items made for Maharajas which take diners on a journey through Indian culture and history. The menu reflects regional accents with a contemporary viewpoint. It is food that observes the established traditions of Indian cooking but breaks the rules a little by Executive Chef Sohan Bhandari. Our menu goes beyond a 1970’s “Curry”, beyond street food and into a world of real Indian flavours. Our signature dishes include our traditional lunch Tiffin, Khaati Rolls , Colonel Saab’s smoked lamb shank and figs poached in Assam tea cognac.The bar is a great meeting place and afterwork destination serving signature house cocktails created to compliment the menu. Colonel Saab’s two beautiful private dining rooms ideal for any event up to 26 guests.

Giotto is a quaint family-run Italian restaurant tucked away in New Oxford Street and open since 1996.Sitting nicely in the city, Giotto is quite close to Covent Garden and within close proximity to the main theatres of the west end like Shaftesbury and Dominion theatres and the British museum – offering peaceful and relaxing settings to guests away from London’s heavy hustle and bustle. The name Giotto is of Italian origin meaning “pledge of peace”. This appealing Italian name is also associated with the great Florentine painter and architect Giotto di Bondone, a major force in the Italian Renaissance. The menu is a melting pot of classical Italian cooking: from delicious antipasti, to stone baked pizza and freshly made pasta produced by our passionate kitchen team, whom have over 15 years’ of experience. Good food, needs quality wine, that’s why our dedicated staff travel to Italy on a regular basis to visit winery and to learn more on how they are produced and sourced.
