Two Italian guys in their twenties met in Manchester to find out that they shared a unique passion; they both loved and missed, the Italian Aperitivo, the ritual of drinking, nibbling and relaxing after work. A daily occasion to share moments of happiness with friends and family. By the end of that very same year, Veeno was born: a place where everyone could enjoy great wines and the most authentic Spuntini – platters of meats, cheeses and other appetisers imported from strictly selected Italian producers. Our wines come from Caruso & Minini, our family vineyard back in Sicily where great-grandfather Antonio planted the first vines in the XIX century.     This is one of mine and my families favourite places for birthday breakfast treats & that was the reason for our visit this morning. Myself and my sister brought my Mum & Dad for breakfast for my Mums birthday. Our meals were delicious, and beautifully presented as always. We ordered a cake for my Mum also, and all I can say is WOW! It was stunning, vanilla and raspberry tower! It was huge! Such a treat. Thank you so so much, you never disappoint! The pistachio and rose latte was a welcome change too 👌🏼 The roasts are also out of this world, highly recommend!

    Oh my goodness we had a beautiful meal, the starters and desserts were exceptional. We chose several from the snack menu. Tempura prawns were outstanding. The mains were really good, only issue was monkfish still had water residue that sadly diluted the Thai sauce, and potatoes oil the venison dish were a tiny bit over salted. This didn’t affect our overall experience and the restaurant was very busy due to valentines night. More staff would have helped reduce waiting times and probably the tiniest faults mentioned. These were not worth mentioning at the time as staff were doing their very best. Mentioning now for management feedback. Will definitely visit again! The starters and desserts were the best we’d ever tried!! All Staff so friendly and welcoming!

    The food was exceptional as was the value as there was a 2 for 1 menu which we did not anticipate. I booked for my daughter's birthday and they immediately welcomed her with a 'Happy Birthday' and a glass of prossecco. Such a lovely touch. The service was excellent and very attentive. I would not hesitate to recommend and we will definitely be returning.

    Dined on a Monday evening. Staff were friendly and there service good. Food was really nice and definitely value for money. Will definitely return next time we are I Chester
