A very welcoming experience from Elias who checked in on us in a friendly and efficient manner. We were also served by a delightful lady too who placed our orders. She explained the menu well and her aim was to please. The restaurant has a lovely ambience with tables not too close together. Izgara is beautifully decorated in a warm comfortable setting. Overall, great staff, lovely ambience and delicious food! 5 stars 🌟

We were a group of 7. Lovely starters all round My main - the Devon chicken - was lovely and the haggis and pie also very good. A couple of the others didn't really enjoy their pork schnitzel. It's not a cheap place but great for a special occasion. I would recommend it. James - our server - was brilliant. At one point my mum had shared some bad news about her health and a couple of us got a bit teary. He happened to come to collect empty plates at that point and quietly left us to it and came back later. Most of the group didn't notice but I did and really appreciated it.

We visited for the first time on my husband’s birthday. Both the tomahawk steak and lamb chops were delicious, and the complimentary Turkish tea and baklava with a candle made our day. We will definitely return to try other items on the menu.

Excellent pub, staff, food, choice of drinks and decor were all spot on, great value too and everything was just what was needed for pre-game food& drinks. I’d come again!

It was our 2nd visit to the Script as we enjoyed the first one on Fathers Day very much. Unfortunately we weren’t as happy this time. The lamb in the roast was like a doorstop and the cauliflower cheese was a bit watery and the roast potatoes were a bit underdone. The club sandwich was extremely bad. Not really sure how you can make a club sandwich bad?? A lot of bread and not much inside. The chicken and bacon were very overdone and inedible. All we were offered was a complimentary coffee!
