The Hengist offers a range of dining options including a casual dining option on the ground floor and two more formal dining rooms upstairs along with outside terrace dining in our gardens. We offer seasonal 'a la carte and 'set' menus along with a 'Sunday lunch' menu. All of our dishes are freshly made to order with locally sourced ingredients.

In addition to the beautiful interior areas there is a large well maintained garden for you to sit out in during the summer months. If you are looking for accommodation the K&Q has 3 double letting rooms, one of which is equipped for disable guests.     A truly fantastic dining experience at St Leonard West Malling. The tasting menu that we had was unique and the flavours were perfectly balanced for each course. The service was second to none with a nice atmosphere throughout the dining room Without doubt the best meal Iv had in the local area for years!

    Food was excellent & birthday dessert a lovely gesture. Both steak sampler & fish of the day were superb. Service was a bit hit & miss but all staff very polite. Wine was great but I'd not bother with the cocktails. Would definitely visit again.

    We went for Sunday lunch and had a lovely time. Cocktails are amazing, food was delicious, decor was great. The only downside was that the service was very slow and waiting staff not very attentive as in we sat with empty glasses for a long time and no-one came over to the table really except to take our order or serve the food. Also not enough gravy on the roast but that is a personal preference. Overall though loved The Hengist and would definitely go back!
