The Fox & Pheasant is a little “country” pub tucked away in a small corner of Chelsea. The pub was founded in 1846 and it began its life as the Bedford Arms. Ten years later it changed to the Prince of Wales and in 1965 became The Fox & Pheasant and we have no intention of changing its name again!Not only are we a snug pub in the winter with 3 fire places, a dartboard and dog biscuits for the well behaved companions (dogs)! We are lucky enough to be able to wind back our roof in the conservatory for those long summer lunches to. We had an amazing meal at the Alverbank. The venue is modern and clean. There is a lovely ambience in the dining area, even though there was only few in that night, it didn't matter. The starters were exquisite. Then mains were just wonderful. We have not had such a great meal out in a long time. I highly recommend the tarragon chicken. Anisha and staff were just so helpful and polite. We will definitely be returning and recommend to others.

Took the missus for Sunday lunch and it did not disappoint. Food was immaculate and service just aswell. Went around 1:45 and it was very quiet only a few tables busy. Would recommend and would definetly return.

Lovely pub/restaurant and food was superb. Was let down by the lack of decoration for Valentines night though. A few crepe paper hearts. Music was good though and service wonderful.

Told there would be an hours wait for food when we arrived even though we had booked as we were tight on time. They did manage to serve in time and food was very good.
