Our menu is seafood focused with fresh seafood direct from the trawlers next door. A hidden gem in the seaside village of Shorncliffe, but only a train ride from Brisbane. FICK Brewing Company is a local neighbourhood brewery with an indoor bar and a covered outdoor beer garden. The owners are Luxembourgish and Australian so the food is representative of that with the European-style street food such as hand-cut, double-cooked chips with Dutch Mayo, Tarte Flambees (French-style pizzas), Belgian Mussels and chips (Moules Frites), Currywurst (chopped Bratwurst with curry ketchup on chips), Farinata (North Italian chickpea pancake), as well as Wagyu beef burgers. The beer styles mainly hail from Belgium, but a solid Red IPA is on offer as well as a range of other locally produced spirits from all over Australia (including Lark, Hartshorn, and Never Never).All wines are from Hentley Farms in the Barossa Valley.

We had the monthly special shared the entree and shared the dessert which was beautiful. The pork chop main was probably the best pork I’ve ever had.

This restaurant was exceptional. The quality of the food was magnificent, you can tell it is all made onsite, fresh, clean, flavourful. Pricing on point, service fantastic, overall we were all extremely happy with our dining experience. This is no doubt, our new favourite local restaurant.

The food was fabulous - when I explained I couldn't eat fresh coriander the chef made up a different sauce which was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The service was fabulous - staff friendly and service prompt. All in all a great lunch and would recommomend this place.

This was my third visit to Wagaya and every time has been a wonderful experience! The food is incredible and the price is highly reasonable — we spent less than $150.00 between three of us which was unexpected! Definitely get your moneys worth :) Wagaya is one of my top Japanese restaurants to visit in Brisbane and I’ll continue to be a patron for the long run.
