We are a relaxed, family-welcoming Italian restaurant on Sydney's beautiful coastal hub. We are Coogee's oldest Italian restaurant, owned and operated by the Lombardo family for more than 20 years. Modern, family Italian is one of the simplest, most enjoyable cuisines the world over, and La Spiaggia is loyal to this ethos. With many of Italy's most famous exports on our menu , we customise our good food with a woodfire oven, and by hand-making most of our pastas. We also source the best possible ingredient for all dishes, whether that be local Australian or imported Italian, from fresh seafood daily to the best Italian cheeses. We are open seven nights a week for dinner from 5.30pm.

Yana Coogee, situated a stone’s throw away from the beach on the main promenade of Coogee, is inspired by Chef Same Lane's passion for the simplicity of cooking with an open fire and the feeling of being surrounded by great food, drink and company. The delicate smokey aromas from the kitchen greet guests as they arrive in our Australian inspired interior with exposed brick walls and leather seating booths - altogether, setting the scene for a delicious, fire-touched dining experience. The menu will be agile to work closely with the dynamic nature of the availability of local produce. You can expect to enjoy a menu including Whole King Prawns with Nduja butter, 1.2kg black onyx Tomahawk with oregano Verde, and sides including Medley with Heirloom carrots, radish, zucchini, Sheep yoghurt, sumac, and honey. The bar serves up a beer and wine list that won’t disappoint, and cocktails that elevate the coastal vibes and set the tone for your Yana experience.

    I highly recommend this fabulous gem in Coogee. Fabulous cocktails, great menu featuring cooking on open fire which adds another level to results. The staff were very attentive. A stand out was the home made burnt Basque cheesecake which literally melted in your mouth. Very reasonably priced as well. Overall a fabulous vibe.

    Had an absolutely exceptional, fabulous, gorgeous time with my friends here today. Dining in the cellar room felt like we had gone back in time. A nice feel of classy casual. The level of service was fantastic, with designated friendly waiters continually checking in and keeping us hydrated. The starter/share plates and cocktails were so tasty. Fuss free, and quaint. I look forward to going back.

    The perfect place to celebrate Valentine's Day. The chef put together an amazing array of Aussie delicacies that made this visit quite an experience. The staff treated us like royalty. And the views just can't be beat anywhere in the world!
