Crowbar Sydney, is an independent, family owned live music venue. Opening in 2018 as an addition to the East Coast touring circuit with sister venue Crowbar Brisbane established in 2012. Crowbar has always strived to support artists from the ground up, providing a platform for emerging local and national acts, showcasing growing Australian and international talent and hosting secret shows, after parties, album release parties and more. Crowbar hosts 800+ bands each year. Curating events ourselves and working alongside a network of promoters and booking agents on a local, national and international level. Next Door is the sister restaurant of Margaret, which, quite literally, sits next door to it at the corner of Bay St and Guilfoyle Avenue.     Had an absolutely exceptional, fabulous, gorgeous time with my friends here today. Dining in the cellar room felt like we had gone back in time. A nice feel of classy casual. The level of service was fantastic, with designated friendly waiters continually checking in and keeping us hydrated. The starter/share plates and cocktails were so tasty. Fuss free, and quaint. I look forward to going back.

    Service was very good and the all the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was very fresh and didn't have to wait a long time for it. Would definitely recommend checking this place and would come here again for sure.

    So amazing to have another option for Portuguese food in Sydney! Chorizo pasta was a 10/10 and the bacalhau was absolutely delicious. Sardines entree also absolutely a must try the olive tapenade so fresh and the broa the perfect combination of fluffy and crunchy.
