Happy Out is adding another string to its bow and taking on the Dublin brunch scene. At the weekend there will be an adventurous brunch menu with a variety of coffees and brewing methods to explore. Taking inspiration from his travels around the world and his family kitchen. THE PORT HOUSEDUBLIN & LONDONOpened first in 2006 we realised we had something special in our little cave on South William Street in Dublin 2! Twelve months later, we opened another little cave in Temple Bar and our third in a cottage in Dundrum Town’s Centre’s Pembrook District. After three successful restaurants and seven years of hard work and saving our pocket money, we decided we were grown up enough to hit London in search of fame and fortune down the West End of Covent Garden, where we hope to get a small bit part alongside Jude Law! In 2019, we were delighted to announce that we opened our fifth location in Camden Street, Dublin 2. Which is an incredibly diverse area that gives us the opportunity to present our tapas, ports and wines with a focus on Cava that does not receive the attention it deserves.

It was my sons 13th birthday and we where allowed to bring his cake and balloons. Staff made a lovely fuss of him and sang happy birthday. Eimear in particular was fantastic! When serving our food. She addressed my son by name and made sure the birthday boy got his meal first. Food was delicious and super friendly staff!

Spent a wonderful Saturday evening at the Schoolhouse with my wife and 2 young daughters. The food, ambiance and overall service from the staff were all outstanding. A special mention to Germano for really going the extra mile to look after my family. It was greatly appreciated, and we will definitely be back soon as the food was also outstanding.

Really Good brunch menu. Pancakes fab and served with plenty of crispy bacon. Waffle dish was a small portion - just the one small waffle. Excellent coffee. Excellent service. Dog friendly (on the covered terrace). The down side was that we were the only diners, so atmosphere was lacking. Very good value for money though
