Pastas, bread, stocks and sauces are all made in-house and include the ever-popular Gnocchi di Luigi - house-made pasta served with napoli and ricotta or the Spaghettini al Granchio – cherry tomato, zucchini, crab meat, lobster bisque, chile.The Gradi menu has over 15 selections of Neapolitan pizza combinations from the Margherita Versace, to standouts such as the popular Suprema - pizza in bianco, fior di latte, pumpkin, rocket, pinenuts and goat cheese or the Quattro Formaggi - bianco, fior di latte, grana Padano, and Emmental. Campisi's Downtown is owned and operated by David Campisi and his family. The restaurant has a long and storied history, beginning in 1946 when David's great-grandfather bought a bar with a small kitchen and began making pizzas - the first ever in Dallas. Today, Campisi's Downtown still makes its famous pizza (you can even build your own if you like), and also serves up a huge array of pasta dishes, salads, appetizers and entrées. For dessert, try the tiramisu or Italian cream cake. There's something for every taste at Campisi's downtown, so bring the family and enjoy delicious beef, veal, chicken and seafood dishes (and pizza!) all made in the traditional Italian style.
