A little history on our namesake: The Linwood Hotel: John B. Pullis established the Linwood Hotel in about 1888. Located on the Southeast corner of South Clinton Avenue and Linden Place, the Linwood Hotel temporarily housed WW1 Navy flyers from the Bay Shore Aero Station while their barracks were being constructed. The Linwood was destroyed by fire on October 11, 1925.

We stay true to Italy's culinary standards to retain the natural freshness and flavors of our dishes, which makes us one of the ONLY restaurants in the US to never incorporate artificial flavorings, colorings, or preservatives, nor do we use corn syrups in any of our beverages.     We’ve been here a couple of times, and each time we dine here we love it. Our server was wonderful and our dishes were excellent. Starters were the bread and calamari, bread was hot and delicious. Calamari was lightly battered and tender. Cacio Peppe perfect, Bronzino flavorful, Pappardelle great and chicken piccata plentiful. Desserts were gelato and flourless chocolate cake. Restaurant was beautifully decorated for the holidays as well. We’ll be back!

    This was our first night out after the birth of our 9 month old and the staff, food quality, and atmosphere was on point and what we needed. The service was fast but also allowed us time to enjoy. Would highly recommend and return.

    We had scallops and a pork chop. Both were extremely flavorful and delicious. The service was impeccable. Highly recommend.
